TOM ACKERMAN

Tom Ackerman, the owner of AC Commerical, started his own firm over a decade ago and has since built an impressive network of professional contacts and relationships throughout Fond du Lac and the surrounding counties. Tom has a unique background in commercial real estate and over 30 years of business experience. He brings his expertise and extensive skill set to his own company and applies it to all facets of commercial transactions.
Prior to his commitment to Commercial Real Estate, Tom enjoyed an accomplished career in the Marine Industry while at Mercury Marine and later as third in command at Crownline Boats. He also earned a role as the general manager for one of the premiere brokerage firms in Milwaukee, WI.
Throughout his career, Tom has received numerous prestigious awards for his hard work, dedication, and expertise. Tom is a four-time elected chairman to NMMA Education Committee, a two-time recipient of Brunswick’s Leadership Award, and a one-time recipient of Brunswick Innovation Award for his founding and development of Mercury University.

We live in a competitive negotiable world and we believe commission rates should be based on each individual situation and not some typical cookie-cutter percentage approach most firms take by presenting their going rates.

MLS Sheets vs. Brochures
MLS Sheets simply do not effectively convey what a property is really about. They lack in many ways - especially their poor categorization of property specifications. They fail at marketing 101. We believe in customized brochures for most property & business representations vs. the easy way out most brokers and firms take with outdated MLS sheets.
SUPPORT
After everyone has signed...
now what?
We don’t think vanishing after a closing or lease signing builds relationships. Things come up well after the disposition, acquisition of a property or business, and especially with leases. Landlord and Tenant support from your broker is not untypical well after a lease starts. We have a well documented and testimonial history of being there for you well beyond the transaction closing.
